METS Trade Show 2011

We will be exhibiting at the METS Trade Show on the 15,16,17th November at the RAI Exhibition Centre in Amsterdam. Our stand number is 10-701A and for the first time we will be located in the Super Yacht Pavilion. On display will be examples of our Inflatable Fenders, together with details on our special fendering systems for swim platforms and tender garage doors. Also we will be showing a model of our new Sea Pool which is designed to protect swimmers against jelly fish and offers a tremendously safe area for less confident swimmers and especially children.

Solas Rescue Boat

We were pleased to be asked by Boating Matters of Holland to design and build the Inflatable Tubes for their new Diesel Powered SOLAS Rescue Tender. Designed specifically for Super Yachts, the tender incorporates a number of interesting features.

 

The new boats, called RES-Q-TENDERs will be built in Holland using Dutch ingenuity, craftsmanship and VRIPACK's excellent design and engineering capabilities.

The unique inflatable tube is built by British experts and  craftsmen,  Henshaw Inflatables Ltd

This a brand new design that incorporates the latest thinking in practical ideas and features as well as the latest SOLAS standards. However the design emphasis has been on facilitating on-board maintainability  which is critical to the operation of tenders on a busy Yacht. They can be used on yachts under 500 tons that don't require the full SOLAS certificate or on Yachts over 500 tons that do. 

RES-Q-Tender's are created by Vripack and Tim Fleming, the latter with over 25 years experience with Zodiac, developing tenders for the large yacht market and especially SOLAS approved versions. Vripack is a respected Superyacht Industry leader in design and engineering. All RES-Q-TENDER models are custom made to order and can incorporate some individual and bespoke requirements for the Owner within the limits of the Approval Certificate.

The RES-Q-TENDER range consists of diesel inboard, waterjet or sterndrive powered rigid hull inflatables from 4.2m thru 5.3m.

This range of boats answers the need for yachts that require a tender or rescue boat compact enough to be easily stored and serviced on board; be diesel powered so they don't need special compartments and can use the Yacht's fuel supply; be versatile enough to be used by the crew as a reliable workboat, tender, watersports craft and look good when moored alongside.

Designed and engineered by VRIPACK, they are ruggedly built with an aluminum hull and deck for intensive use but to the highest yacht quality standards by Dutch craftsmen in the Netherlands. The aluminum construction also allows the boat's overall length to vary slightly in order to fit specific storage dimensions.

New Inflatable Spherical Fenders

Our new Inflatable spherical fenders are ideal for deployment from foredecks, and are made in heavy duty Hypalon coated fabric. They can be supplied in any size, and the picture opposite shows a fender with a diameter of 1.5 metres.
