Technical Certification

All products supplied by Henshaw Inflatables are built in Wincanton in our own factory, and the Manufacturing is carried out under a strict Quality Assurance Scheme. All products can if requested be supplied with a copy of the relevant Certificate of Conformity, and Pressure Test Certificate.

For RIB Collars/Tubes, we carry out a Pressure Test, and issue a Certificate which meets and exceeds the requirements of ISO 6185-3 and ISO 6185-4 (which is still in draft form and has not yet been implemented). This ISO standard which covers the manufacturing of Inflatable Collars, calls for a Pressure Test to be carried on the finished collar, and a copy of a typical test is shown below.

The requirement for the ISO standard calls for no greater than 20% loss in pressure over a 24 hour period.

All Hypalon fabric used by our Company holds approval from either the UK MCA or Bureau Veritas, and both the 1300gsm and 1500gsm fabric is SOLAS approved
